The living story of you and those you love.
Over time, we forget voices, habits and little moments. Who met us at the door, how we spent evenings together, where we lived and what made us happy. Woon is a place to keep those details and return to them.
Stories of people and animals
Create a Woon page for yourself, someone close or a pet. It brings together a description, photographs and memories from different years. Share everyday life, revisit childhood or preserve memories of those who are no longer with you.
Animals do not have their own accounts: people tell their stories. A person’s page can also be created by someone who wants to write about them. It is that author’s perspective, with their authorship preserved.
Start with a single memory
You do not need to complete a long profile, know exact dates or describe an entire life at once. A name, a photograph or a few words is enough. You can keep your own page brief and start with someone you love.
A memory can include several photographs. Add details over time and edit your own stories. Both major events and ordinary days are worth keeping.
One moment, different memories
People who were there often remember different details. They can leave a comment or propose a contribution with their own story and photographs. Each contribution keeps its author’s name.
Contributions need approval unless the contributor has trusted access. The story can grow together while its page owner retains control over what appears on it.
Your close circle and your family tree
You decide who belongs in your close circle: relatives, friends and animals. Describe a relationship in your own words or leave it without a label.
Genealogy is a separate feature. Add parents, children and, for people, spouses or partners. Build a tree from existing pages or create new ones. A page in the family tree is not automatically added to your close circle.
Animals can have family trees too. Species and breed are optional. Tags help group pages in ways that matter to you, such as identifying kittens from the same litter.
Different authors, different perspectives
The same person or pet can mean a lot to several people. Each author can keep their own version of a page, with their descriptions, photographs and memories.
Versions can be linked by mutual agreement. Authorship is kept and readers can switch between versions. If someone registers themselves, their personal page can also be linked to an existing page about them through an agreed request.
Who can see a story
Keep a page to yourself, share it with selected people or make it public. Individual memories also have access settings. You choose who can read and who is trusted to contribute.
Following helps you keep up with new stories about a person or animal. People follow from their accounts; a pet’s page can have followers. Following alone does not grant access to private material.
Places on a map
Keep places from a life on the page, describe them and mark them on a map. Bring together places from different periods of a life, open individual points or view them all together.
Photographs appear in stories and in an album. Share a page using a link or a QR code. Access settings still apply: a link does not make a private story public.
The story keeps going
Woon is a place to return to today, tomorrow and years from now. Add a funny photograph, write down something a loved one said, remember a dog’s favourite habit or piece together a family day.
There is no need to wait for a special occasion. Often the things that matter most are already happening around us.
